What is HaoleWare?
Haoleware.com is the online home for contemporary environmental mixed media recycled art. Essentially we reclaim someones tossed materials and shape them into something new.
We are based in Corbett Oregon, and can be seen at two fantastic Northwest art galleries; Lorang Fine Arts in Cascade Locks, and in Sellwood we are hosted at Love Art Gallery. We participate in multiple annual shows around the Portland are including; the Mcmenamin’s Edgefield CrackedPots show, and the Vancouver Recycled Arts Festival. Look for us at any of these fine venues and enjoy some of the work prepared by Tim Foertsch.
Here Junk is our Green Vision. There can be beauty in things others treat as waste. Spring is here, time to get some wares! Look for us at some Northwest Art Galleries, or the Vancouver Recycled Arts Festival, or procrastinate until the Edgefield Crackedpots show.

We also enjoy creating mixed media pieces as well. Anniversary creations, Freeform planters, Custom Gates, Metal Flowers, Candle Votives and small furniture from reclaimed bowling lanes, and whatever you can challenge us to create. Look through our other pages to see past items and to give ideas for your own private order.
Haoleware is coming to a couple of fantastic galleries. If you are in the gorge you see some of our work at www.lorangfineart.com, and if you happen through Sellwood check us out at www.loveartgallery.net | Check out our new firepits! Our most popular metal work involves marrying solar lighting with cast aside metal. Propane tanks carved with whimsical patterns and illuminated at night often become our favorite work, such as the hummingbird tank pictured to the left. This tank, and others typically sell out at every venue.
On a smaller scale we also make pathway solar lights which are always big sellers, like the items below. Call them what you will, Solar Pathway lights, Shadow Tanks, either way they are great all day and well into the twilight. |

Look for Tim Foertsch at www.landfillart.org .You will see our contribution to an international recycled art project. As pictured to the left, it is Jelly Fish solar light crafted from what was once a simple hub cap.

Check out a fantastic group, www.CrackedPots.org. They are partnering with Recology and Metro in Oregon to educate through art, and prevent items from entering the waste stream through a project called GLEAN. Truely an amazing project, and very inspiring. Lets all support this effort and work to educate those around us, get creative with your waste don't just throw it away!
